You Do Not Need Followers to Become a Kick Affiliate

Kick's own help centre lists a single requirement for affiliate status, which is what turns on paid subscriptions: five hours streamed in total, and those hours can be spread over as many short streams as you like. There is no follower minimum. So if subscriptions are what you are after, the route is simply to go live, and a follower service is not a step you have to take first. What followers change on Kick is how the channel looks to people, not whether you are allowed to monetise it.

Every other requirement is about people actually watching and talking in your chat, and Partner is something you apply for, not a status that switches on by itself. Treat the follower requirement as the easy part, because it is.

Why a New Kick Channel Still Wants a Follower Count

When someone lands on your channel from a clip, a raid or a link in another stream's chat, the follower figure under your name is one of the first things they read. On a platform this new, a count in the dozens rather than the single digits is enough to say the channel is active and worth a follow. That is the whole job here: making the channel look lived-in while you build the stream itself.
